Theme: True PEACE is only from the Prince of Peace!

Memory Verse:Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (John 14:27).

Beloved, 

Be not deceived, true ENDURING peace can only be obtained from our Lord  and Saviour Jesus Christ.  The peace that JESUS gives to us is totally different from the peace of this world ( John 14:27).  This  verse tells us one thing clearly: this world can offer us some semblance of peace.

 Many erroneously believe that they can have true peace, joy or security from  money, family, qualifications, titles, high positions etc.  It is good to have them if we can. Believe  me, the peace and sense of security that comes with having these things are ephemeral. It fades away with time, especially if the things are no more.  But true peace is a blessing that only the Lord can give. It is unwavering and eternal with little or no relationship to events around us. There is no sorrow added to it. The Word says: The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich & he added no sorrow  with it (Psalm 10:22).

There  are 24 hours in a day; how much time do you spend with the Word daily? Remember, He is your First Love (Rev 2:4). Spend time with Him. This season, may you receive TRUE PEACE from the Prince of Peace (Isa 9:6) in Jesus name.  Amen.

 His thoughts towards you are that of peace:  

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end(Jer 29:11).

You will notice that this divine peace from the Word of God is a component of the fruit of the Spirit( Gal 5:22).  Apostle Paul tells us that without this divine peace, no one will see the Lord: Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord ( Heb 12:14).  The depth of your peace, is the extent you trust in him. Put your total trust in Him. Let Him be your source of every good thing. The Psalmist, the great warrior says:  Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God (Psalm 20:7). No wonder he was able to say: In God we boast all the day long, and praise thy name for ever. Selah(Psalm 44:8).

This is what the Scripture says of Jesus in prophesy:

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace (Isa 9:6).

To have increasing spiritual knowledge, requires total fear of God, and  spiritual training in the word of God: Train yourself to be godly(1Tim 4:7-8 NIV). Please, key into the Word of God Ministry.
