Word for Today: “…Add to your KNOWLEDGE, TEMPERANCE…”(2Peter 1:4-10)

Blessed weekend beloved.

This is the day the LORD has made…Psalm 118:24

Truly , the word of God is “sweeter than honey to my mouth!” (Psalm 119:103).

If the soul be without KNOWLEDGE, it’s not good(Proverbs 19:2). Meaning, everyone has a responsibility to constantly feed, nourish and enrich the soul.

Brethren, meditate on God’s words day and night( Joshua 1:8). We can only have His DIVINE NATURE after we have escaped the corruption of this world. One of our greatest weapons is our MOUTH and WISDOM ( Luke 21:15). Please, let’s build up ourselves through our THOUGHTS, WORDS and ACTIONS, knowing that what you say to yourself and others are very POWERFUL indeed. Please, let pay great attention to these edifying words from apostle Peter:

1Peter 1:4-10
“Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ”.

You are chosen to be fruitful in the kingdom ( John 15:16).

Prayer:
Our Father and our God, empower us to be more fruitful in your kingdom in Jesus name. Amen.
