Theme: No Completion in Life without Jesus Christ.

Memory  Verse:

“And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power”( Col 2:10).

Beloved,

Welcome to the month of June 2014, the month of completion. May God complete all aspects of your life in Jesus Precious Name. Amen.

Life is spiritual . Without the Spirit in Jesus Christ, life is never complete. Our memory verse says Christ is the head of all principality and power.

What does it mean to have a complete life. A complete life is a life with the full presence of God. A  Life radiating the glory of God. The glory of God in the life of a person is revealed by fullness of love, joy, peace, goodness, humility, grace, mercy, light, wisdom, power etc. Jesus Himself says: ” I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly ( John 10:10b).

Although material prosperity is part  of abundant life, however, it is not a limiting factor, as some people may think.  Indeed, history  is full of people on earth who enjoyed abundant life without material prosperity. A very good example is our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ Himself, who enjoyed abundant life on earth with fullness of power without material prosperity. Indeed the Scripture says though He was rich, he became poor so that through his poverty, we may become rich (2 Cor 8:9).

As the God in Jesus Christ is the true source of power, a life full of Christ is full of POWER, totally complete, because the receiver is in position to speak things into being. Jesus is the fullness of the power of God, because His Father gave it to Him. The Scripture says:

“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth” ( Matt 28:18). Again, the Scripture says:

“For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily” (Col 2:9)

Whether in heaven, on earth or underneath the earth, all things were created by him and for him, and without him, nothing existed:

“For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him” ( Col 1:16).

Without Christ we can do nothing ( John 15:5). Whether we believe it or not, without Jesus Christ,  we are nothing. Our jobs, cars, houses, monies,  positions in life etc, are given to us by Christ, hence should be used for his glory ( Isa 43:7).

An unbelieving person may not have the spiritual understanding, because the natural person understands not the things of the Spirit (1 Cor 2:14), but it does not make it less so, after all Jesus still wakes him up every morning.

John’s gospel tells us that:

“A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven ” ( John 3:27).

According Prophet Isaiah:

“Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end ” ( Isa 9:7).

Brethren, make  your life complete by cleaving unto Jesus Christ today, knowing that without Christ we can do nothing. Having received Jesus, let us not compromise on truth, purity, sincerity, honesty, transparency, integrity, righteousness, faithfulness, love etc.

Prayer: Receive the grace of complete life in Christ Jesus, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Once more, welcome to the month of June. Have a Spirit-filled week in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in the Vineyard of Christ. Bro Ben Bassey, & the MOW family
