THEME: LIGHT OF THE WORLD!

MEMORY VERSE: Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid  (Matthew 5:14).

Beloved

Light can be perceived as electromagnetic radiation that is visible to the human eye, and is responsible for the sense of sight. According to the memory verse ‘’ Ye are the light ….’’, means that others should see through us and LEARN from us through our lives ; light is seen by everyone because of it  radiation power .

Believers in God in Christ Jesus are referred to as “light”because Jesus  Christ, the embodiment of the Holy Spirit,   dwells inside His children. (1Corinthians 3:16).

As the light of the world we have to work in partnership with God in Christ. Jesus Christ affirms: ” I am the light of the world’’ John 8:12.

Believers  are  living in the midst of people who dwell in spiritual darkness.

Finally,  “Let your light so shine before men…’’Matthew 5:16.

PRAYER: Receive  increasing grace to shine as a light IJN.AMEN.
