Word Building: Cultivate God’s Kind Of Thinking Only

Memory Verse:
“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” Philippians 4:8 NIV

One of the ways to live happily every day is to focus your mind on the Word and think good thoughts about other people. Never allow anyone bring some negativities into your life to defile the purity of your heart and the joy of seeing others with the eyes with which God sees them. Stay with the good thoughts about everyone. God’s love believes only the best about others every time.

Some people get in awkward situations for believing all the wrong and negative things they heard about others and end up losing good relationships.

Philippians 4:8 TPT
Keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising him always.

When you set your thinking on thoughts that are contrary to those listed in the opening verse, you become the reflection of such thoughts. But imagine if your life is the reflection of things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and of good report. How beautiful your life would be! Your character is the reflection of your thoughts. The more positive your thoughts are, the more peaceful and excellent your life would be.

Dear Father, as I meditate on your Word, my mind is inundated with thoughts of glory, excellence, success, victory and prosperity. I make my way prosperous and walk in absolute victory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
