YOU ARE HOLY

Dear Friends,

Do you know that you are holy? Not because of your own efforts or good deeds, but because of Christ’s sacrifice and love. Your holiness is not based on your ability to follow rules or meet certain standards, but on the fact that God has declared you holy through Jesus Christ.

The Bible says, “But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption” (1 Corinthians 1:30). This means that your holiness is not something you achieve, but something you receive through faith in Christ.

Consider this: If God is holy and hates sin, will He dwell in an unholy place? The amazing truth is that because He is holy and desires to dwell in us, He made us holy. This allows Him to reside in us through the Holy Spirit, as stated in 1 Corinthians 3:16, “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?”

Today, I decree that you will understand your true identity in Christ – that you are holy, not because of yourself, but because of Him. May the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 5:23).
